Getting to Know the People of CS Marine

Our Next 7 blog posts are going to diverge a bit.  We would like for you to get know our company and our engineering team.  We are all very different people and have all had very different journeys to get to where we are now.  We would like to honor those differences.

I shall go first to start the introductions.

MICHELLE BREW - Director of Marketing

1. Tell me about your career.  What did your journey look like before you came to CS Marine?

My background and experiences have been extremely varied.  Before CS Marine, I worked on various promotions at numerous tradeshows/conventions and events. I have travelled extensively in the U.S. to many of its gorgeous golf courses doing sales, marketing and PR on the PGA (Pro-Golf Tour) for XM Satellite Radio.

2. What originally drew you to apply to CS Marine?

I like the family aspect of CS Marine, which was started by husband and wife mechanical engineers who saw a need in their field.  From what I gather, other companies lack their communication and interpersonal skills plus their exceptional work ethics.  Their engineers and project managers are not afraid to get their hands greasy with everyone else.  The people in charge work just as hard if not harder than their employees.  No one is shy of putting in a long day or cracking a little sweat to get things done and to get them done properly.

3. What do you work on?

I handle all marketing for CS Marine including our website, blog, linked-in, facebook, and instagram pages, as well as, all of our company photography.

4. Why do you look forward to coming to work every day?

I learn new things everyday and I love to learn: reading about engineering innovations anywhere in the world, meeting some of these creators, and hashing out new ideas for the company.  I appreciate that my input is always taken into consideration.

5. How has coming to CS Marine change how you worked?

I am reading many more engineering articles than I would have ever expected.  I mean, I like my Car and Driver but this is taking it to an entirely new level.

6. What are you looking forward to learning?

I am looking forward to becoming the best in my field, expanding my job experience, and being on the forefront of innovation.
